Our dynamic machine shop is equipped with a comprehensive range of cutting-edge machinery, designed to meet any precision machining requirements. From CNC mills and lathes to multi-axis turn/mill machines, we have the capability to handle projects of varying complexity.
Highlights from our workshop
DMG DMU 50 Evo Linear 5-axis Mill: Our most accurate 5 axis mill allows us to produce the most complex components to the tightest of tolerances.
Nakamura Tome WT-100 Turn/Mill: The twin turret and twin spindle lathe has the capabilities of making highly complex components to an accuracy of 0.001mm.
Doosan Puma 2600m Lathe: This large rigid and highly accurate lathe with live tooling capability has a maximum turning diameter of up to 480mm.
DMG DMU 65 Monoblock 5-axis Mill: Our largest 5 axis machine with a bed size of x-735 mm, y- 650mm, z- 560mm. Produces the most complex components with the highest of accuracy.
Hardinge Conquest GT Super Precision Lathe: Our most accurate lathe, comfortably holding 0.001mm limits.
Versatile and traceable materials
At Bomic we have the ability to work with any material a project requires. All our materials have full traceability ensuring components are made to the correct specification required.
We have experience working with steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminium, plastics, nickel alloys (extensive experience with Nimonic 90 HR2) inconnel, iron, titanium and other exotics.
